Pomegranates

Everytime I see pomegranates I think of my childhood friend Elaine. I bought and ate a pomegranate this week and it was really nice to think about my childhood friend and the things we shared. Is there a food that reminds you of someone special?

I've never even *had* a pomegranite! But that picture looks so delicious that I'll have to try one soon :)

Pomegranites were unusual in Perth, but some people had a tree and kids took them to school - the cool kids that is. This is a gorgeous picture of a fruit I love now. Nanna's figs were too weird, but the mulberry tree was irresistable and colourful to eat. And my dog loved to eat the apricots of the tree - that's a black labrabor for you.

Gum - my mom would always have that perfect blue mint gum in her purse. During church the smell would call out to me - and I always think of my mom when i smell that kind of gum. Welcome to the world of blogging M.

What is a pomegranite? I guess those exotic fruits havn't reached the north yet..
Anyway, to party answer your question I think of you and Peter when I see those candle holders that look like small ice balls.
